What

In the Fall of 2021, Drake Molitor hatched an idea to marry his two biggest passions in baseball: Impacting a younger generation of ballplayers and scouting. A few months later, in June of 2022, Molitor Baseball Consulting was born. At MBC, we guide prep baseball players and their families through the college recruiting process from start to finish. From one-hour consultations to providing a personal advisor to walk through the entire process alongside you, we work with and for student athletes to lessen the challenge that is the recruiting process and making a final decision.

Meet our staff

Drake Molitor, Founder and CEO

Baseball is in Drake’s blood. He discovered his love for baseball at a very young age and it has been an integral part of his life ever since. He has taken every opportunity to immerse himself in the game at all levels ranging from youth to professional baseball.

Drake has eight years of experience in coaching at the High School and Collegiate levels. Molitor spent the 2018-2022 seasons on staff at the University of St. Thomas, most recently as the Director of Baseball Operations in 2021-2022. While at St. Thomas, Drake interned for the Wareham Gatemen of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League where he found a passion for scouting. Since the Spring of 2020, he has served as an Associate Scout for the Minnesota Twins. In this role, he assists in finding and evaluating high school and college ballplayers in the Upper Midwest. Over the years, he has continued to work with high school baseball players at Complete Game Baseball Club in Lino Lakes, MN.

During his time spent at St. Thomas and on the high school travel ball circuit, he realized that a large number of players and their families needed help when navigating the college recruiting process. Drake founded Molitor Baseball Consulting in 2022.

Drake currently resides in his hometown of Lino Lakes, MN.
